WIFA x WGTW: The WGTW Speaker Series: Climate Adaptation and Resilience in the Built Environment: April 22
How can Hong Kong work with the United States, mainland China, and other tropical, coastal cities in Asia and the world to adapt to climate change in the built environment?
WIFA is excited to host an engaging WGTW Speaker Series featuring David Gottfried, known as a father of the global green building movement, founding the U.S. Green Building Council and World Green Building Councils. Join us as we explore collaborative solutions and strategies to address climate challenges in the built environment.
Through the Indo Pacific Strategy, the White House has prioritized reducing regional vulnerability to climate change and environmental degradation. This Speaker Program aligns with those goals, connecting David Gottfried with counterparts in Hong Kong. Together, we will share best practices, forge long-term partnerships, and contribute to the reduction of fossil fuels in the region.
Be part of this impactful event, where ideas and expertise converge to create a sustainable future. Together, let's make a difference for our planet and future generations.
Gregory May, U.S. Consul General, will grace the occasion and commence the event with a warm welcome speech.
