Dr. Myra is a clinician with more than a decade’s worth of experience in clinical practice and commercial management.
A highly respected leader with a deep understanding of clinical governance and commercial health management, Dr. Myra first joined AIA in 2005 after spending 11 years in front line clinical practice across Malaysia.
For the past 15 years, Dr. Myra has worked across the medical community to develop quality assurance protocols, medical training programmes and provided high level expertise to optimise healthcare delivery systems.
With well-established networks across the health industry, Dr. Myra has established a reputation as a thought leader in health insurance and the implementation of medical management initiatives.
Now serving as AIA Group Medical Director, Myra is responsible for fostering close relationships with the medical community across Asia Pacific and driving improvements in clinical management across AIA’s extensive network of healthcare providers and healthcare ecosystem partnerships.
With a proven track record of leadership and delivery, Dr. Myra is highly sought after throughout Asia for her medical insights and innovative management strategies.
Myra graduated from the Gandhi Medical College, Barkatullah University Bhopal in 1993 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and is a Registered Medical Practitioner with the Malaysian Medical Council.
Dr. Donald Greig, Specialist in General Surgery, is the Managing Partner of Hong Kong Surgical Specialists (HKSS) and is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors. His research on the COVID-19 pandemic has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the geopolitics and the humanitarian impact inflicted by the pandemic which has caused such substantive global mortality and morbidity. Dr. Greig has written several commentaries on COVID-19 articles over the past year which are posted 2-3 times weekly on the HKSS website. In addition, he has published other non-Covid related medical information and research in one book, 50+ scientific papers, abstracts and letters.
Catherine is a serial entrepreneur and has founded AvantFaire Holding and Impactlytics with strong presence in Hong Kong and Canada, focusing on impact investment management and analytics. Catherine also worked in prominent financial institutions in Canada and China including the Royal Bank of Canada and Noah Holdings Limited. She advised ultra-high net worth clients and family offices on investment in public, and private equity and other asset classes.
Catherine holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, an MSc in Economics and a BSc in Economics and Statistics from University College London and the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation.
Catherine received the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award from the University of Toronto in 2017 for her long–term commitment and contribution to the local community.
