Speakers
Estelle Ling is currently leading the Talent Acquisition Function in Asia Pacific for Refinitiv. She brings over 15 years of working experience across diverse markets like Canada, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Born in Singapore, she relocated to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada at a young age with her family. She then started her real estate career in Vancouver, Canada with a developer focusing on her passion in frontline sales and consulting with clients. In 2013, she transitioned back to her home country of Singapore and transferred her career into Recruitment, joining Robert Walters, covering the Human Resource recruitment function, she soon built a strong network within the financial and professional service industry which lead her to the start of her journey with Thomson Reuters, now Refinitiv.
Starting off as an individual contributor covering ASEAN, she quickly took over markets like ANZ, North Asia, Japan, and China. Now based in Hong Kong, Estelle leads a team of over 30 members in Asia specializing in hiring across all functions, with a key focus in front line sales and operation centers.
Justin McLennan is an Executive search professional focused on financial services in Greater China.
Justin has over 25 years in search, having worked in the industry since 1995, initially with a blue-chip ‘City’ headhunting firm in London. He was hired from London to move to Hong Kong in 1997 and has since managed several offices and teams in Hong Kong and Greater China. He has built up an extensive network across the region and has a proven track record of success in placing senior financial professionals with his clients. This has resulted in building long term relationships with leading banks, hedge funds and asset management firms.
Educated in the UK, Justin started his career as an officer in the British Army, graduating from the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst in 1990. During five years with the military, he saw active service during the first Gulf War, Northern Ireland and was based in Germany and Canada before launching his search career.
