WiFA Workshop - Innovative Models for Social Impact and Grassroots Engagement
Join this interactive workshop to learn how two grassroots organizations are using innovative models to make an impact in communities often overlooked in Hong Kong society.
Our supported charities, HERFund and EmpowerU, will share their unique, community-driven initiatives and discuss the fundamentals for impactful grassroots engagement. Hear from the organizations' leaders about how they work with the communities they serve to design and fine-tune scalable programming.
This workshop is open to any individuals and corporates wanting to build their knowledge about local grassroots work and the HK NGO ecosystem. If you're looking to round out 2021 with ideas and tools for developing your volunteer toolkit and making a positive impact, this workshop is for you.

Founded in 2004, HER Fund mobilizes resources for women's empowerment, the promotion of social changes and gender equality. We support the most vulnerable women and girls in Hong Kong by providing capacity-building, leadership training and small grants to grassroots organizations led by and serving the most disadvantaged. We also increase the visibility of marginalized women and girls—and the issues they face.
