Managing Director of Morgan Stanley
Praveen is a managing director and heads research for Asian Gaming & Lodging and Real Estate at Morgan Stanley. He ranked #1 in the gaming & lodging sector in the 2019 All-Asia Institutional Investor Research Team poll. He has been ranked each year from 2011 to 2020. Praveen has a degree in electronic engineering and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
He is also Morgan Stanley’s Corporate Representative in The Women Foundation’s Male Allies program and a keen reader!
Peter has developed a global career in finance and also become a speaker, writer, and serial volunteer. He and his wife Catherine have four children and both work in finance. They support a wide range of causes, including initiatives that promote equality, education, entrepreneurship, empowerment, and the environment. Peter serves on the board of two NGO’s — Music For Life International in New York, and Resolve Foundation in Hong Kong. He had to write a book to capture all the cool things that happened since arriving in Hong Kong in 2010 — Productive Accidents is a playbook for personal and professional adventure.
