Rosie is an Executive Director in the Digital Assets team at Goldman Sachs having joined the
firm in 2020. Based in Hong Kong, Rosie leads the tokenisation and digital money initiatives in
Asia.
Passionate about new technologies and digital strategy, Rosie started her career at Accenture
in 2013, relocating to Hong Kong in 2015 where she led Accenture’s FinTech Innovation Lab
Asia-Pacific, a 12-week accelerator programme for early stage FinTech companies partnering
with global banks and insurance companies. She is a highly active member of the FinTech
ecosystem in Hong Kong, regularly speaking at regional industry conferences.
Rosie is vice-chair of The British Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong’s Future Leaders
Committee, focusing on addressing the needs of Hong Kong’s young professional in education
activities for career development. Rosie holds a BA in International Business Management with
French from Newcastle University (UK).

Urszula McCormack is one of the world's leading regulatory and digital economy lawyers, with a focus on emerging technologies.

Julien Martin is Managing Director and Head of Emerging Business Development at Hong Kong Exchanges
and Clearing Limited (HKEX). He joined HKEX in 2015.
Mr. Martin spearheads the new business development of HKEX, overseeing initiatives that expand and
consolidate the role of Hong Kong as a technology, ESG and data hub. He is responsible for originating and
developing new businesses opportunities for HKEX, spanning from tokenization, digital, data, ESG to any areas
that would complement HKEX existing business and strategic vision. He previously managed HKEX FIC
business during which he developed Bond Connect from its launch in 2017, delivering policy breakthroughs,
index inclusions and market wide client adoption for the connect program. He led other key initiatives in the
fixed income and currency business for both cash and derivatives, and is steering a number of industry and
organization-wide initiatives on the development of mutual market access, platforms, and product solutions.
Prior to joining HKEX, Mr Martin was Managing Director and Deputy Head of Fixed Income China at BNP
Paribas. He was instrumental in establishing the bank’s presence in Mainland China and pioneering the
development of RMB derivatives and flow products in its global platform at the onset of RMB
internationalization. He worked 17 years at BNP Paribas in Fixed Income activities between London, Hong
Kong and Shanghai. With more than 23 years of market experience, of which 16 years spent between Shanghai
and Hong Kong. Mr Martin is a recognized expert in Asian financial markets, new technology, fixed income
and foreign exchange. He is fluent in English, French and Mandarin.

Clara Chiu is the founder and CEO of QReg Advisory Limited, a strategic regulatory consulting firm.

Prior to setting up her firm, Clara was the former Head of Fintech Unit & Director of Licensing of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) till 2021. During her tenure at the SFC, Clara was the core architect of the Hong Kong regulatory framework for virtual assets. She formulated and wrote the virtual assets regulatory requirements and other SFC Fintech policies. She also designed and supervised the HK SFC licensing process in virtual asset funds and trading platforms. She was the fintech spokesperson for the HK SFC in international conferences, local government, financial regulators, and industry meetings.

Clara has extensive regulatory experience in policy formulation, licensing, and supervision. In addition to the HK virtual assets regulatory framework and regulations, Clara was the main drafter of some important chapters of the SFC Codes of Conduct for licensed intermediaries. She also supervised staff to license traditional financial institutions and led teams to conduct on-site inspections.

Clara is a Hong Kong and UK qualified lawyer. In the early years of her career, Clara worked at international law firms advising clients on commercial litigation and regulatory matters including defending clients in SFC investigations and disciplinary cases.

Bénédicte is the Head of the BIS Innovation Hub, Hong Kong Centre. Prior to this appointment, she was a managing director at SC Ventures, the innovation arm of Standard Chartered Bank that leads a series of new ventures across digital banking, banking as a service, SME finance and blockchain. From 2018-2019, she was the Vice President of International Government Relations at Circle, involved in the evolution of blockchain and digital assets. From 2012-2018, she was the Head of Risk & Strategy of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), and in that capacity also acting as the Vice Chair of the Committee on Emerging Risks and the Fintech research lead for the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). From 2007-2012, she was a managing director at Credit Suisse and before that from 1997-2007 she was an associate and executive director at Goldman Sachs. Originally from Belgium, she holds LL.M. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Chicago and the University of Leuven. She is admitted to the New York Bar since 1999. In 2016, she was a recipient of the China Daily Asian Women Leadership Awards for her efforts related to entrepreneurship, innovation and charity. She remains closely engaged in these topics, most recently through her involvement in the Fintech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK) and Women in Finance Asia (WiFA.)
