The Art of Persuasion Webinar Series

The WiFA Networking committee cordially invites you to join a series of events focused on PERSUASION, the act of convincing someone to change their beliefs or to do something in the way you suggest. It is often described as the 'art' of persuasion because it does not follow a formula, it must be practiced in the moment. Understanding more about this can not only help you learn to influence others, it can also help you to influence yourself to make the changes you want.

Event 1: 'Using Story to Influence'

When done authentically and effectively, storytelling not only helps to build trust – it makes people more receptive and emotionally connected to you and what you are saying. This in turn builds deeper and stronger relationships. It's the hidden machinery of getting things done. To unleash story's secret power, you need to be comfortable with the key components of story and understand how to tell a story in a way that engages people. This event offers you an introduction to the science and structure of storytelling, allowing you to influence people through your communications.
